FARMINGTON, Utah (April 3, 2024) – Weber State's Tuan Minh and Idaho's Ida Johansson were named Big Sky Tennis Players of the Week following their impressive performances this past weekend.
Men's Tennis Player the Week: Tuan Minh, Weber State
Tuan Minh went 3-0 in singles and doubles play last week, as Weber State topped last season's defending tournament champion Idaho and regular-season champion Northern Arizona.
The freshman from Vietnam earned the doubles point against Idaho, before clinching Weber State's 4-3 win over Northern Arizona.
The weekly conference honor for Minh is the first of his career.
Women's Tennis Player the Week: Ida Johansson, Idaho
Ida Johansson led the Vandals to their third-straight win, after going 2-0 against last season's defending tournament champion Weber State.
The freshman from Sweden picked up a doubles point for Idaho before pushing the score to 2-0 after a straight-set win on court four.
The weekly conference honor for Johansson is the first of her career.
