FARMINGTON, Utah (Mar. 6, 2024) – Sacramento State's Mark Keki and Northern Arizona's Daryna Shoshyna were named Big Sky Tennis Players of the Week, following the pair's outstanding performances over the weekend.
Men's Tennis Player the Week: Mark Kek, Sacramento State
Mark Keki won his second weekly conference honor of the season after leading Sacramento State to a 7-0 victory over Weber State this past weekend.
Keki won his singles and doubles matches at the No. 1 spot, improving his record for each to 6-2 and 4-2, respectively.
The conference weekly honor for Keki is the fourth overall for his career.
Women's Tennis Player the Week: Daryna Shoshyna, Northern Arizona
Daryna Shoshyna was named Big Sky Player of the Week after helping Northern Arizona top Utah Tech and No. 69 UNLV over the weekend. Shoshyna went 3-1 overall during the week, sporting a 2-0 mark in singles action.
The sophomore clinched NAU's 4-3 victory over No. 69 UNLV with her singles win on court three, winning in three sets.
The conference weekly honor for Shoshyna is the first of her career.
