Idaho State earns back-to-back weekly honors following O'Lideadha's win

FARMINGTON, Utah (Jan. 31, 2024) – Weber State's Jordan Coutinho and Idaho State's Lola O'Lideadha were honored as Big Sky Tennis Players of the Week, as the pair went undefeated in singles play.

Men's Tennis Player the Week: Jordan Coutinho, Weber State
Jordan Coutinho helped spearhead a 4-0 weekend for Weber State in Las Vegas, as the Wildcats defeated UNLV, Nex Mexico State, Hawaii and UC Riverside over the weekend.

The senior from South Africa posted a 4-0 mark in singles play to improve his overall record to 6-0 on the year, with the highlight of the weekend coming against UNLV in a three-set comeback victory.

Women's Tennis Player the Week: Lola O'Lideadha, Idaho State
Lola O'Lideadha posted a 2-0 mark in singles play for Idaho State this past week, winning against her Boise State and Washington State foes on the road. O'Lideadha played her matches at the No. 3 and No. 4 spot, with a two-set win against Broncos and a three-set victory against the Cougars.

O'Lideadha's weekly conference honor now gives Idaho State back-to-back wins, following Hana Cho's Big Sky Player of the Week award last week.
