FARMINGTON, Utah (Feb. 14, 2023) - For the third time this season, Sacramento State's Isnelle Natabou has been selected as the Big Sky's Women's Basketball Player of the Week, the conference office announced on Tuesday.
Player of the Week - Isnelle Natabou (Sacramento State)
Natabou was an essential player for Sacramento State this week as the center helped lead the Hornets to a win over Northern Colorado and aided in a close OT deciding game against Northern Arizona.
In two games, Natabou recorded a total of 48 points as she put up 27 against the Lumberjacks and posted 21 against the Bears. The junior finished 22-of-33 (.667) from the floor and grabbed 21 total rebounds, 17 of those on the offensive glass.
Natabou's back-to-back 20-point performances gave her a double-double average of 24.0 ppg and 10.5 rpg. The Hornet also added two blocked shots and one assist to the weekend as well.
The center currently leads the Big Sky in both rebounds and field goal percentage as Natabou has recorded 239 total rebounds this season and has an overall field goal percentage of .646 on the season.
Natabou's field goal percentage ranks her fifth in the nation as she is right behind Kansas' Taiyanna Jackson and Iowa's Monika Czinano who both have a current free throw percentage of 66.7.
