FARMINGTON, Utah (Jan. 24, 2023) - After another successful week for Sacramento State's Kahlaijah Dean, the senior guard was selected as the Big Sky's Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the fourth time this season.

Player of the Week - Kahlaijah Dean (Sacramento State)
Dean was essential this past week for Sacramento State as the guard helped the Hornets bounce back from their first loss in conference play by taking down Idaho State and Weber State.

In two games, Dean recorded a grand total of 58 points as she put up 27 against the Bengals and posted 31 against the Wildcats. The Hornet averaged 29.0 ppg, while shooting 62 percent from the field, 67 percent from three-point range (10-of-15), and 92 percent (12-of-13) from the line. Dean also added eight assists, seven rebounds and six steals to the week as well.
