FARMINGTON, Utah (Nov. 29, 2022) - After successful weeks for Beyonce Bea (Idaho) and Isnelle Natabou (Sacramento State), the pair has been named the Big Sky Women's Basketball Co-Players of the Week, the conference office announced on Tuesday.
Co-Player of the Week - Beyonce Bea (Idaho)
Beyonce Bea helped lead Idaho to a win over Navy and aided in a tough battle against Richmond. The guard/forward finished the week with a total of 46 points and 21 rebounds. Against Navy, Bea totaled a season-high 34 points, 13 rebounds, three assists and three steals. The senior shot 11-for-16 from the field and made 12-of-14 shots from the foul line to tally her fourth double-figure scoring performance of the season. Bea currently leads the conference in scoring as she has recorded a total of 90 points in four games, giving the guard an average of 22.5 points per game.
Co-Player of the Week - Isnelle Natabou (Sacramento State)
Isnelle Natabou was a key player for Sacramento State as the center helped lead the Hornets to a 3-0 record this past week with wins against UC Davis, Cal Poly and UTEP. Natabou recorded a total of 43 points and 33 rebounds giving the junior an average of 14.3 points and 11.0 rebounds per game. The center shot .625 from the field while scoring in double figures in all three games. Natabou currently leads the league in rebounds as she has tallied 67 rebounds in six games, giving her an average of 11.2 rebounds per game. Natabou also leads the conference in field goal percentage with a total percentage of .679.
