FARMINGTON, Utah (Dec. 13, 2022) - After a successful week for Sacramento State's Isnelle Natabou, the junior center was selected as the Big Sky's Women's Basketball Player of the Week, the conference office announced on Tuesday.
Player of the Week - Isnelle Natabou (Sacramento State)
Natabou was a key player for Sacramento State this past week as she helped the Hornets secure a win against CSU Bakersfield and assisted in a tough battle against San Diego State. Natabou finished out the week with a total of 42 points, averaging 21.0 per game and recorded 24 rebounds giving her an average of 12.0 per game.
The junior extended her double-double streak to four games, giving Natabou a total of six double-double performances on the year. The six double-doubles ties the center at sixth in the nation for the same statistic.
Natabou leads the conference in field goal percentage as the Hornet has recorded 64 field goals on 91 attempts, giving her an overall percentage of .703. These numbers rank her second in the NCAA. The junior also leads the league in rebounds per game as her current average is 11.3, which ranks her tenth in the nation for the same category.
