FARMINGTON, Utah (Mar. 27, 2024) – The Big Sky Conference office has announced its most recent round of Women’s and Men’s Golfer of the Week titles, going to Sacramento State and Idaho respectively.
Women’s Golfer of the Week – Jennifer Koga, Sacramento State
Finishing in a tie for eighth at the Fresno State Classic, Sacramento State’s Jennifer Koga has been named Big Sky Women’s Golfer of the Week.
Koga carded a 2-over 218 (74, 71, 73) to lead the Hornets to a fourth place finish as a team.
This is Koga’s second weekly honor of the season and the fourth for the Hornets..

Men’s Golfer of the Week - Johannes Hounsgaard, Idaho
Finishing as the individual runner-up at the UC San Diego Invitational, played at Torrey Pines Golf Course, has led to Idaho’s Johannes Hounsgaard being named Men’s Golfer of the Week.
He shot a 5-under 211 (72, 69, 70) to finish second to North Dakota State’s Jack Johnson (8-under).
As a team, the Vandals finished second with a 2-over score as a squad.
This is his second weekly honor of the season, and the third for the Vandals.
