FARMINGTON, Utah (Oct. 12, 2023) – After another action-packed week of Big Sky Conference women’s and men’s golf, the league office has announced another round of Golfer of the Week titles.
Women's Golfer of the Week: Yvonne Vinceri, Idaho
Securing an individual victory at the 2023 Eagle Invitational has earned Idaho’s Yvonne Vinceri Women’s Golfer of the Week honors.
Vinceri shot a 4-under 209 (71, 68, 70) to finish play at Indian Canyon Golf Course seven strokes ahead of her closest competition.
Her efforts also pushed the Vandals to a team victory in Spokane, Wash., as they outpaced Weber State by five strokes.

Men's Golfer of the Week: Jake Aberle, Sacramento State
After leading the Hornets at The Bill Cullum Invitational, Sacramento State’s Jake Aberle has been named Big Sky Men’s Golfer of the Week.
Aberle finished in a tie for 11
th after shooting a 3-over 219 (76, 71, 72) at The Saticoy Club.
He’s the first Hornet this season to earn the honor.
With the title, all four men’s golf programs in the Big Sky have received at least one Golfer of the Week honor.
