FARMINGTON, Utah (Feb. 22, 2024) – For the second-consecutive week, Sacramento State’s Luke Dugger has been named Big Sky Conference Men’s Golfer of the Week.
Dugger helped Sacramento State to a third-place finish at the Wyoming World Matchplay at Indian Wells Golf Resort.
The graduate student posted a 1-1-1 record in his three matches but led the team with 15 holes won over during the tournament. Dugger halved his first match against Pacific. He ended the tournament with a convincing 4&3 win over UC Irvine. The Hornets and Anteaters finished tied, 3-3, but Sacramento State was awarded the victory based on total holes won in the match. Dugger tied for the team lead during the day with six holes won.
This is Dugger’s third weekly award of the season.
