FARMINGTON, Utah (Mar. 13, 2024) – Weber State’s Emily Song has been named Big Sky Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week.
Song led a final round Weber State rally at the Lady Thunderbird Invitational, which saw the team move from eighth place to a runner-up finish as the team posted the best score of the field on the final day.
She led the way, carding five birdies in a 2-under par 70 over the final 18 holes. For the tournament, Emily posted rounds of 79, 72 and her final round 70 for a five over par 221, which placed her fourth overall on the individual leaderboard.
Song becomes the second Wildcat to earn the award this season, after Isabel Gutierrez earned the honor following the first week of the season.
