FARMINGTON, Utah (Dec. 23, 2023) – For the third time this season, Northern Colorado’s Saint Thomas has been named Big Sky Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week, the league office announced today.
Thomas was instrumental for the Bears in their victory over Air Force this week, a contest that they secured on the road.
He finished with 24 points on 77 percent shooting from the field, along with 10 rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block.
That was his sixth double-double so far this season.
Through 11 games he’s now become the Big Sky’s leading scorer, averaging 18.7 points per game. He’s also second in rebounding, pulling down 10.3 boards per contest.
Thomas is a transfer from Loyola Chicago.
Weekly awards from the Big Sky were moved up this week since all countable contests had concluded.
