Weber State’s Jones Takes 11th Player of the Week Title

Against the Cowboys, Jones had 17 points, pulled down 11 boards and dished out seven assists.

FARMINGTON, Utah (Dec. 19, 2023) – After securing a double-double in back-to-back contest against Mountain West Conference foes, Weber State’s Dillon Jones has been named Big Sky Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.
 
Jones averaged 15.0 points per game, 11.5 rebounds per game and 5.0 assists per game while leading the Wildcats to a weekend split of Nevada and Wyoming.
 
Against the Cowboys, Jones had 17 points, pulled down 11 boards and dished out seven assists.
 
He continues to lead the Big Sky Conference in scoring (18.7) and rebounding (10.9). The Wildcat also ranks third in field goal percentage (.482) and assists (3.9).
 
This is Jones’ 11th Player of the Week title he’s earned through his career.
