FARMINGTON, Utah (March 15, 2023) – The Big Sky Conference office has announced its weekly Women’s and Men’s Golfer of the Week honors, which this week have gone to Northern Colorado on the women’s side and Idaho on the men’s side.
Women’s Golfer of the Week – Marija Jucmane, Northern Colorado
After being the Big Sky’s top finisher at the Pizza Hut Lady Thunderbird Invitational, Northern Colorado’s Marija Jucmane has been named Big Sky Women’s Golfer of the Week.
Jucmane finished tied for 11
th, shooting a six-over 222 to outpace the rest of Big Sky competitors at the event.

Men’s Golfer of the Week – Joe Sykes, Idaho
After finishing tied for third on one of the most prestigious courses on the West coach, Idaho’s Joe Sykes is the Big Sky’s Men’s Golfer of the Week.
Playing at the Bandon Dunes Championship, Sykes shot a one-under 143 after the second round was canceled due to weather.
