FARMINGTON, Utah (February 15, 2023) – The Big Sky Conference office has announced its regular Women’s and Men’s Golfer of the Week honors, which this week have been awarded to Northern Arizona and Weber State respectively.
Women’s Golfer of the Week – Lizzie Neale, Northern Arizona
Leading Northern Arizona to a runner-up finish at the Mountain Classic Match Play, Northern Arizona’s Lizzie Neale has been named Big Sky Women’s Golfer of the Week.
Neale went 2-0-1 while the Lumberjacks qualified for the championships match against No. 1-seeded Nevada.
When NAU topped Southern Utah, Neale knocked off her opponent 6&5 and then against No. 2-seede Boise State she beat her opponent 1UP.
She earned the lone point for NAU against Nevada as she tied her opponent.

Men’s Golfer of the Week – Isaac Buerger, Weber State
After leading Weber State to a second place finish at the Pizza Hut-Pat Hicks Invitational, Weber State’s Isaac Buerger has been named Big Sky Men’s Golfer of the Week.
Buerger shot a 2-under 214 (74, 71, 69) to finish in a tie for eighth place after carding 14 birdies in the tournament.
