FARMINGTON, Utah (Aug. 7, 2025) – For the third-consecutive summer, the Big Sky Conference has announced its Team Academic Champions, highlighting the top team academically across all sponsored sports for the 2024-25 athletic calendar.
“Since implementing these awards three years ago, it’s been fun to see the great teamwork we have on our campuses not only on the playing surface, but in the classroom as well,” Commissioner Tom Wistrcill said. “Congratulations to our Team Academic Champions for the 2024-25 season and keep lifting each other up in all your endeavors.”
These titles were based upon combined team GPA for the entire 2024-25 academic calendar, not just the season they competed in.
Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field were combined for the purposes of these titles.
Eastern Washington women’s golf set the bar for highest team GPA, finishing the year with an impressive 3.95 as a team.
Both Montana State women’s basketball and Montana men’s tennis earned this academic recognition, along with claiming a Big Sky title during the course of their respective season.
