“A lot of things are changing in college sports, but one thing that remains constant is the opportunity to gain lifelong knowledge and seeing so many student-athletes hit this benchmark proves this is still one of our top priorities,” Commissioner Tom Wistrcill said. “I want to congratulate this group of 700-plus for being named to our All-Academic Team and commend our institutions for putting them in a position to succeed both on and off the field of competition.”
In total, 721 student-athletes were honored along with 103 earning 4.0 GPA’s.
