Weekly Honors Announced for May 11

FARMINGTON, Utah (May 11, 2026) – The Big Sky Conference announced its Athlete of the Week honors, presented by JAMBAR, with just outdoor track & field in action for regular season competition.
 
This week marks the conclusion of the regular season for all Big Sky sports and will be the final weekly awards from the league office until the 2026-27 campaign.  

Big Sky Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week (May 11, 2026)

Men's Track Athlete of the Week: Harvey Cramb, Montana State (Jr., Brisbane, Australia)
After making his season debut at the Tom Gage Classic, Montana State’s Harvey Cramb has been named Big Sky Men’s Track Athlete of the Week. He ran a converted time of 3:39.37 to win the 1,500-meter, which is just two seconds off his personal best. He’s the first Bobcat this season to secure Men’s Track Athlete of the Week honors.

Men's Field Athlete of the Week: Blake Sturgis, Idaho (Sr., Spokane, Wash.)
Propelling himself up to No. 17 in the NCAA for men’s javelin has earned Idaho’s Blake Sturgis Men’s Field Athlete of the Week honors. Sturgis had a throw of 73.21m (240-2) at the Whitworth Last Chance Meet to secure his spot as the Big Sky leader heading into the championships this week. This marks his third weekly award from the Big Sky this season.

Women's Track Athlete of the Week: Agnes McTighe, Northern Arizona (Gr., Valais, Switzerland)
Running the fifth fastest 5,000-meter in the Big Sky so far this season has earned Northern Arizona’s Agnes McTighe Women’s Track Athlete of the Week honors. McTighe clocked a 15:51.93 at the APU Franson Last Chance Meet to sit fifth heading into the Big Sky Championships. She’s ranked behind four of her teammates. She’s the third Lumberjack woman to be named Women’s Track Athlete of the Week this season.

Co-Women's Field Athlete of the Week: Shealyne McGee, Montana (Gr., Camas, Wash.)
Recording the second-best pole vault in the Big Sky so far this season has earned Montana’s Shealyne McGee Women’s Field Athlete of the Week honors. She recorded a 4.15m (13-7.25) at the Tom Gage Classic, which is a mark that has only been topped by one other athlete so far this season in the league.
 
Co-Women's Field Athlete of the Week: Libby Hansen, Montana State (Sr., Helena, Mont.)
Also recording the second-best pole vault in the Big Sky so far this season has earned Montana State’s Libby Hansen Women’s Field Athlete of the Week honors. She recorded a 4.15m (13-7.25) at the Tom Gage Classic, which is a mark that has only been topped by one other athlete so far this season in the league.
