Championship Information
FARMINGTON, Utah (Mar. 5, 2026) – Five individual student-athletes and a relay team will be representing the Big Sky Conference at the 2026 NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field National Championships next week in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
The meet will be held March 13-14 and stream on ESPN+.
Northern Arizona will be sending three individuals to Arkansas, along with a men’s distance medley relay team. Big Sky Most Outstanding Performer, Colin Sahlman, will be running the 3,000-meter in Arkansas in hopes of securing an individual national championship. His teammate, Tor Hotung-Davidsen, will be competing in the men’s mile.
On the women’s side, Big Sky Most Valuable Athlete Hayley Burns will be running in a pair of events, as she’ll compete in both the women’s mile and women’s 3,000-meter.
The Montana State Bobcats will be sending two athletes to nationals on the women’s side, both in field events. Hailey Coey will be competing in the women’s long jump, while Sydney Brewster will be participating in women’s shot put.
