POCATELLO, Idaho (Feb. 27, 2026) – Two days of action are in the books inside the ICCU Dome, as the 2026 Big Sky Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships roll on in Pocatello, Idaho.
Several medals were handed out on Friday, with plenty more to be distributed on Saturday.
Idaho’s Hanna Tait earned the gold in the women’s pentathlon, scoring 4,088 points across the five events to move into third in Big Sky Conference history.
The men’s heptathlon title went to Weber State freshman Tyler Warnick, who scoring 5,404 points to secure the gold.
Montana State’s Hailey Coey stole the show in women’s long jump, breaking her own Big Sky Conference all-time record with a mark of 6.53m (21-5.25). That mark currently puts her No. 8 in the entire NCAA.
Montana’s Callie Wilson set a Big Sky Championship record in the women’s 60-meter dash with a time of 7.30 to eclipse Northern Arizona’s Alyssa Colbert, who ran a 7.32 in 2023.
Fellow Grizzly Erin Wilde secured her third consecutive gold medal in the women’s high jump, clearing 1.80m (5-10.75) to secure victory in the competition.
After two days of competition, Northern Arizona’s men are in the lead with a total team score of 56 points. On the women’s side, NAU is also in the lead with a total team score of 56.5.
Competition will continue tomorrow at 10 a.m. MT, with two team titles on the line.
