FARMINGTON, Utah (April 3, 2023) – With the spotlight on a brand new women’s 10,000-meter record, the Big Sky Conference office has announced its most recent group of Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week award winners.
Track & Field Athlete of the Week titles are awarded on weeks where four or more teams compete throughout the indoor and outdoor campaign.
Women’s Track Athlete of the Week – Billie Hatch, Weber State
Setting the new standard for the Big Sky Conference, not only this season but all-time, has earned Weber State’s Billie Hatch Women’s Track Athlete of the Week honors.
Hatch set a new Big Sky Conference record in the women’s 10K at the Stanford Invitational over the weekend, crossing the line in 32:36.74. That tops the previous league best of 32:49.62 by fellow Wildcat Lexie Thompson.
That mark also puts Hatch ninth in the entire NCAA.
Additionally, this is a new Weber State record and a personal best by over a minute for her.

MacIntosh placed second in the invitational section of the men’s 3K steeplechase while finishing in 8:39.01.
