FARMINGTON, Utah (November 22, 2022) – Following a week where he did everything for the Montana Grizzlies in their annual Zootown Classic, Griz junior forward Josh Bannan has been named Big Sky Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.
Bannan was very impressive over the three game stretch, averaging 14.3 points per game and 13.3 rebounds per game, along with 5.7 assists per game.
His top performance came against St. Thomas, where he scored 23 points and ripped down 17 boards all while dishing out six assists and shooting a blistering 70 percent from the field.
He was also named the Zootown Classic MVP for the second-consecutive season.
The junior currently ranks sixth in the league in scoring, second in rebounding and third in assists.
Bannan was an All-Big Sky Second Team player a season ago as a sophomore.

The 2023 Big Sky Conference Basketball Championships will take place once again in Boise, Idaho, and run from March 4-8 at Idaho Central Arena.
