EUGENE, Ore. (June 14, 2025) – The 2024-25 athletic calendar came to a close for the Big Sky Conference on Saturday evening at Hayward Field, as competition concluded at the 2025 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field National Championships.
The championship was hosted by the University of Oregon.
Competition started on Wednesday, stretching through Saturday with men’s and women’s competition trading off respectively.
On Saturday, the final day of competition, Northern Arizona’s Maggi Congdon had the performance of the meet for the Big Sky Conference, finishing third in the women’s 1,500-meter with a time of 4:09.31. Her placement earned her First Team All-American status.
In the final event of the meet featuring a Big Sky athlete, Northern Arizona’s Agnes McTighe earned First Team All-American status by finishing seventh in the women’s 5,000-meter. She ran a 15:35.87 to claim one of the top eight spots.
On Friday, Montana State’s Rob McManus claimed First Team status, finishing eighth in the men’s 3,000-meter steeplechase. He ran an 8:25.83 in Eugene.
Northern Arizona’s David Mullarkey also earned First Team designation in the men’s 10,000-meter, finishing the race in sixth place with a time of 29:11.05.
Five different athletes earned Second Team All-American designation during the championship as well…
