FARMINGTON, Utah (Dec. 30, 2025) – With the start of conference play for Big Sky men’s and women’s basketball teams just days away, the league office has announced the broadcast schedule for Scripps Sports, SWX and KMAX respectively.
This season Scripps Sports will be airing eight Big Sky contests, with four men’s and four women’s games slated to appear across its various channels. The slate includes all four ‘Brawl of the Wild’ contests between Montana and Montana State. This is a big increase for Scripps Sports on the basketball front, as the league’s broadcast partner will be doubling its regular season slate from previous years.
Scripps Sports will also air all Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championship games that don’t appear on ESPN2 or ESPNU during the tournament later in March. A full breakdown of the 2026 Starch Madness viewing schedule can be
found here.
SWX will be airing nine men’s basketball contests, and three women’s basketball games.
Five Sacramento State home men’s basketball games will be airing on KMAX as well, as the Hornets enter league play under the direction of first-year head coach and NBA veteran Mike Bibby.
All these contests will also be available to stream on ESPN+.
The 2026 Big Sky Basketball Championships in Boise, Idaho will take place from March 7-11 inside Idaho Central Arena. Visit
