JAMBAR, with men's and women's basketball in full swing.
Big Sky Women's Basketball Player of the Week (Dec. 2, 2025)
Women’s Basketball Player of the Week: Taylee Chirrick, Montana State (G, So., Roberts, Mont.)
Chirrick's basket with 1.7 seconds remaining gave Montana State a 71-70 victory over Colorado at the CU Events Center on Sunday afternoon - one of the biggest victories for MSU head coach Tricia Binford in her 21-year tenure in the Blue and Gold. Chirrick, a 5-11 sophomore, led all scorers with a game-high 21 points, which included a seven-of-seven effort from the line.
She played an integral role scoring nine points and pulling down three rebounds as the Bobcats overcame a 12-point fourth quarter deficit. Chirrick stuffed the stat sheet against CU, adding a game-high six rebounds to go along with four steals and three assists.
She is currently averaging 19.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.5 steals and 3.7 assists per game. Chirrick is ranked No. 2 in the nation averaging 4.50 steals per game, and No. 13 in total steals with 27.

Big Sky Men’s Basketball Player of the Week (Dec. 2, 2025)
Men’s Basketball Player of the Week: Quinn Denker, Northern Colorado (G, Gr., San Jose, Calif.)
For the second-consecutive week, Northern Colorado’s Quinn Denker has been named Big Sky Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week. Denker was instrumental for the Bears in their victory over in-state rival Air Force, scoring 23 points in the contest. He also generated a ton of offense for his squad, dishing out eight assists. For the week as a whole, he had 13 assists and shot 70 percent from the field. This is his second career weekly award from the Big Sky.
