Women’s Regionals Recap

Putting on the best postseason showing by a team in the history of the Big Sky Conference, Sacramento State finished seventh at the NCAA Pullman Regional with an impressive performance.

The Hornets shot a 9-under 855 (283, 285, 287) as a team in Washington, which put them just two spots our of qualifying for the NCAA National Championships.

SAC was paced by four-time First Team All-Conference player Tess Blair, who shot a 2-under 214.

All five golfers for the Hornets finished in the top-40.

Sacramento State claimed the Big Sky Conference title in dominant fashion, as SAC’s 856 was the lowest 54-hole score in Big Sky Conference Championship history, which was previously an 866 carded by Idaho in 2018. It was also the only final team score in a Big Sky Championship to go below par.

Men’s Regionals Recap

The Bears of Northern Colorado finished in 13th at the NCAA Morgan Hill Regional, wrapping up the men’s golf slate in the Big Sky Conference.

Playing as an individual, Sacramento State’s Casey Leebrick finished in a tie for 69th by shooting a 235.
