FARMINGTON, Utah (March 23, 2026) – The Big Sky Conference announced its Player of the Week honors, presented by JAMBAR, with men's tennis, women's tennis, men's golf, women's golf, softball and outdoor track & field all in action.

Big Sky Softball Player of the Week (March 23, 2026)

Softball Player of the Week: Camryn McDonald, Idaho State (INF, Jr., Ohtello, Wash.)
Camryn McDonald was an offensive standout of a 5-2 week for Idaho State that included series wins over Oregon State and Seattle. The shortstop hit .444 across six games with an .833 slugging percentage and a .474 on-base percentage, going 8-for-18 with two home runs and seven RBI. McDonald delivered the signature moment of the week in Game 1 against Seattle, launching a walk-off homer in the 12th inning to give the Bengals a 7-6 victory and set the tone for a three-game sweep of the Redhawks. She added a double and finished the week with multiple multi-hit efforts as Idaho State outscored its opponents 39-23 across a seven-game stretch.

Big Sky Softball Pitcher of the Week (March 23, 2026)

Softball Co-Pitcher of the Week: Marley Goluskin, Idaho State (P, Jr., La Verne, Calif.)
Marley Goluskin was sharp in two starts during Idaho State's 5-2 week that included series wins over Oregon State and Seattle. The right-hander went 2-0 across 11.2 innings, allowing just two earned runs for a 1.20 ERA on the week. Goluskin held opposing hitters to a .190 batting average, struck out nine, and walked three while completing one of her two starts.

Softball Co-Pitcher of the Week: Sherreigh Nakoa-Chung, Portland State (P, Sr., Waianae, Hawaii)
Sherreigh Nakoa-Chung recorded a career-high 10 strikeouts while tossing Portland State's first seven-inning no-hitter since 2012, as the Vikings got the win against North Dakota on Friday. The no-hit shutout led to a 1-0 PSU win, which was her second shutout of the season and sixth complete game overall.

Big Sky Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week (March 23, 2026)

Men's Track Athlete of the Week: Keenan Kuntz, Idaho (So., Richland, Wash.)
Setting the tone for the 100-meter dash has earned Idaho's Keenan Kuntz Men's Track Athlete of the Week honors. Kuntz ran a 10.36 at the Sam Adams Classic this past weekend to set the best time by a Big Sky athlete at this point of the season.

Men's Field Athlete of the Week: Blake Sturgis, Idaho (Sr., Spokane, Wash.)
With the best javelin mark by a Big Sky competitor so far this season, Idaho's Blake Sturgis has been named Men's Field Athlete of the Week. Sturgis had a toss of 66.62m (218-7) at the Sam Adams Classic to take the conference lead by over 13 meters.

Women's Track Athlete of the Week: Emma Stolte, Portland State (Sr., Townsend, Mont.)
Portland State's Emma Stolte overcame a Wednesday trip to urgent care for the flu to break a 12-year-old record in the 1,500 meters two days later on the first day of the PNW Invite, earning her Women's Track Athlete of the Week honors. Stolte finished in 4:21.80, putting her a half-second under the old record of 4:22.30 that Sarah Dean set in 2014. It's Stolte's second school record of 2026, after she broke the indoor 800-meter record back in January. Stolte set an outdoor best in the 800 the following day, finishing in 2:10.64. That moved her up to seventh all-time in the outdoor 800 at Portland State.

Women's Field Athlete of the Week: Manthita Wague, Eastern Washington (Jr., Seattle, Wash.)
Taking the conference lead in the triple jump has earned Eastern Washington's Manthita Wague Women's Field Athlete of the Week honors. The Eagle had a leap of 12.18m (39-11.5) in the triple jump to take the league lead in the event.

Big Sky Men's Tennis Player of the Week (March 25, 2026)

Men's Tennis Player of the Week: Jakub Jedrzejczak, Northern Arizona (Fr., Bielsko-Biala, Poland)
Northern Arizona's Jakub Jedrzejczak earned weekly honors after going 4-0 against Sacramento State and Colgate this past week for the Lumberjacks. The freshman owns an 11-3 record in singles play this season, with all but two of his victories coming in straight sets. The Bielsko-Biala, Poland native is on a seven-match win streak in singles play, while the Lumberjacks have won their last four matches. The weekly honor is the first of Jedrzejczak's career.

Big Sky Women's Tennis Player of the Week (March 25, 2026)

Women's Tennis Player of the Week: Valentina Rodas, Idaho (Sr., Medellin, Colombia)
Idaho's Valentina Rodas earned weekly honors after going 2-1 for the Vandals in wins over Seattle and ranked Sacramento State. Rodas won a three-set match on Court 5 to clinch the 4-3 win for the Vandals over No. 58 Sacramento State, who had won 11 of its last 12 Big Sky matches before the loss to Idaho. The weekly honor is the first of the season for Rodas.

Big Sky Men's Golfer of the Week (March 25, 2026)
 
Men's Golfer of the Week: Matthew Wilson, Weber State (So., Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada)
After securing a top five finish at the UC San Diego Invitational, Weber State's Matthew Wilson has been named Big Sky Conference Men's Golfer of the Week. The tournament was played at Torrey Pines GCS in La Jolla, California, where Wilson carded a 6-under across the three rounds. That total score included a 5-under performance in the third and final round to launch 13 spots up the leaderboard. This marks Wilson's fourth Men's Golfer of the Week title from the Big Sky so far this season. He's the only Wildcat to this point of the season to secure the honor.

Big Sky Women's Golfer of the Week (March 26, 2026)
 
Co-Women's Golfer of the Week: Ashleigh Wilson, Montana State (Fr., Denver, Colo.)
After shooting 6-under at the Bell Bank "Pay it Forward" Collegiate, Montana State's Ashleigh Wilson has been named Co-Women's Golfer of the Week. Wilson finished in fourth place on the Wigwam Resort Blue Course and was just three shots off the lead. Her 207 (68, 65, 74) tied her for the third-lowest individual score in program history and her second round 65 matched the third-lowest individual round for the Bobcat golf program With her first Golfer of the Week honor, Wilson joins teammates Eva Heintz, Lauren Greeny and Norah Seidl as Bobcats to claim the title this season so far. 

Co-Women's Golfer of the Week: Timbre Shehee, Northern Colorado (Sr., Mead, Colo.)
Finishing tied for individual runner-up honors as the Bentwater Women's Collegiate has earned Northern Colorado's Timbre Shehee Co-Women's Golfer of the Week honors. Shehee shot 6-over at Bentwater GC in Acworth, Georgia, which included a 3-under round on the final day of competition that shot her 10 spots up the leaderboard. That finish marked the second runner-up finish she's had so far this season. Shehee finished tied with Kennesaw State's Ariana Silva, and the pair was eight shots behind the tournament champion. For Shehee, this marks her second Women's Golfer of the Week title to this point of the season, after claiming the honor on October 16, 2025.
