PHOENIX, Arizona (April 25, 2026) – Top-seeded Northern Arizona defeated No. 3-seeded Idaho State, 4-2, in the Big Sky Men's Tennis Championship Final on Saturday, as the Lumberjacks claimed their first tournament crown since 2021.
The conference tournament title is the fifth in program history for NAU and the third overall for head coach Maciej Bogusz.
With the win, the Lumberjacks sweep the regular-season and tournament titles, improving their overall record to 18-5 on the year ahead of the NCAA Tournament.
NAU's Noa Tcherniack earned Tournament MVP honors after clinching Saturday's win for the Lumberjacks with his three-set victory in the top singles spot.
NAU will receive an automatic bid to the 2026 NCAA Men's Tennis Tournament, with the field officially being announced on Monday, April 27 at 2:00 p.m. MT on NCAA.com.
