FARMINGTON, Utah (April 20, 2026) – The Big Sky Conference announced its Player of the Week honors, presented by JAMBAR, with men's tennis, women's tennis, men's golf, softball and outdoor track & field all in action.

Big Sky Softball Player of the Week (April 20, 2026)

Softball Player of the Week: Jojo Christiaens, Montana (LF, So., Lakeside, Calif.)
Jojo Christiaens went 8 for 15 (.533) with seven extra-base hits on Montana’s five-game road trip to Utah. The Grizzlies lost twice to Utah, then swept a three-game series from Weber State for the first time in program history. The sophomore had four doubles, a triple and two home runs. She also drove in six,  and scored three times. She tallied a 1.333 slugging percentage over five games.

Big Sky Softball Pitcher of the Week (April 20, 2026)

Softball Pitcher of the Week: Sherreigh Nakoa-Chung, Portland State (P, Sr., Waianae, Hawaii.)
Sherreigh Nakoa-Chung led the Vikings in the circle against Northern Colorado, guiding them to their first Big Sky series win this season. She went 2-0 with a 1.75 ERA across 12 innings. She allowed just eight hits across two games, holding opponents to a .184 batting average while striking out 10 batters.

Men's Track Athlete of the Week: Colin Sahlman, Northern Arizona (Sr., Newbury Park, Calif.)

Men's Field Athlete of the Week: Blake Sturgis, Idaho (Sr., Spokane, Wash.)

Women's Track Athlete of the Week: Hayley Burns, Northern Arizona (Jr., Bozeman, Mont.)

Women's Field Athlete of the Week: Sydney Brewster, Montana State (Jr., Sandy, Ore.) 

Big Sky Men's Tennis Player of the Week (April 21, 2026)

Men's Tennis Player of the Week: Noa Tcherniack, Northern Arizona (R-Fr., Perols, France)
Northern Arizona's Noa Tcherniack won weekly honors after helping Northern Arizona clinch the regular-season title, as the Lumberjacks blanked Idaho, 7-0, this past weekend. Tcherniack defeated fellow MVP candidate Chettana Amadike by a score of 6-2, 7-5, at the top spot in singles play to set the tone, following a 6-0 victory in doubles play to start the day. The weekly honor is the second of the year for Tcherniack and fourth overall for the Lumberjacks.

Big Sky Women's Tennis Player of the Week (April 21, 2026)

Women's Tennis Player of the Week: Zoe Pradel, Eastern Washington (So., Toulouse, France)
Eastern Washington's Zoe Pradel won weekly honors after going undefeated in her final regular-season match of 2026, as she helped the Eagles defeat Idaho, 6-1, and clinch the program's first Big Sky Tennis Tournament berth since 2021. Pradel downed Hanna Koprowska of Idaho in straight sets, 6-4, 6-3, at the No. 3 spot, following a 6-1 doubles win in the top spot to begin the day. The weekly honor for Pradel was the first of her career and third overall this season for the Eagles.
