FARMINGTON, Utah (Sept. 14, 2023) – Both women’s and men’s golf seasons have officially begun in the Big Sky Conference, with a handful of teams getting on the course for competition over the past couple weeks.

News & Notes
- Weber State has claimed the first two Men’s Golfer of the Week awards the league office has given out, with Hayden Banz and Brendan Thomas each taking home an honor.
- Wildcat Isabel Gutierrez won the first Women’s Golfer of the Week title follower her strong performance at the Timpanogos Collegiate Invitational.
- Montana State broke a school record at the Timpanogos Collegiate, as they shot a 10-under 278 as a team to set a new single-round record.
- From September 25-26 the Big Sky Conference will be hosting its ’54 for IX’ Tournament to celebrate the first 50 years of Title IX. All 10 Big Sky Conference teams will be in attendance, along with four other institutions. The event will be played at TalsonCove Golf Club in Saratoga Springs, Utah.
- Following the departure of Binghamton and Hartford, the Big Sky men’s golf championship will feature just four teams this upcoming season (Idaho, Northern Colorado, Sacramento State and Weber State).
