BOISE, Idaho (March 8, 2023) – For the second-consecutive season, Montana State men’s basketball is the Big Sky Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament champions after knocking off No. 9-seeded Northern Arizona 85-78 inside Idaho Central Arena.
Behind 25 points from Big Sky Tournament MVP RaeQuan Battle, the Bobcats proved to be too much for the Lumberjacks and punched their second-straight ticket to the NCAA Tournament.
Battle highlighted the All-Tournament Team, which featured teammate Jubrile Belo along with NAU’s Jalen Cone and Carson Towt. The full list can be found below.
Selection Sunday for March Madness this season is Sunday, March 12. The 68-team fields for the men's and women's NCAA DI basketball tournaments will be released during selection shows at 6 and 8 p.m. ET.
