FARMINGTON, Utah (May 7, 2026) – With the 2026 Big Sky volleyball season only a few months away, the conference office announced the full league slate for the fall season.
This upcoming volleyball season will be Utah Tech's inaugural year in the Big Sky, while Southern Utah returns to the league for the first time since the 2021 season.
In 2026, teams will have nine weeks of conference action with the first conference match slated on Tuesday, Sept. 22 between Montana and Montana State. The rest of the league will begin conference play on Thursday, Sept. 24 with a full slate of matches.
Conference play will conclude on Friday, Nov. 20 with 10 teams in action.
The 2026 Big Sky Volleyball Championship, hosted by Northern Arizona, will be held in Flagstaff, Arizona on Nov. 23-25. The Lumberjacks earned the right to host the 2026 championship tournament by winning last fall's regular-season title.
