JAMBAR, with men’s indoor track & field, women’s indoor track & field, men’s basketball, women's basketball, men’s tennis and women’s tennis all in action.
Big Sky Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week (January 19, 2026)
Men’s Track Athlete of the Week: Tor Hotung-Davidsen, Northern Arizona (Gr., Oakton, Va.)
Running the second-fastest men’s mile time in the NCAA so far this season has earned Northern Arizona’s Tor Hotung-Davidsen Men’s Track Athlete of the Week honors. He ran an altitude converted time of 3:53.51 at the Lumberjack Teach Challenge on Friday and only trails one other athlete nationally in the event rankings. Hotung-Davidsen is a transfer from Lynchburg where he was a National Champion at the Division III level.

Men’s Field Athlete of the Week: Desmond Lott, Northern Arizona (Gr., Glendale, Ariz.)
With the top men’s weight throw in the Big Sky so far this season, Northern Arizona’s Desmond Lott has been named Men’s Field Athlete of the Week. Lott had a mark of 21.20m (69’ 6.75”) at the Lumberjack Team Challenge on Friday to set the tone for the Big Sky Conference and currently ranks No. 21 in the NCAA for the event.

Women’s Track Athlete of the Week: Hayley Burns, Northern Arizona (Jr., Bozeman, Mont.)
After running the fastest time in the nation for the women’s mile, Northern Arizona’s Hayley Burns has been named Women’s Track Athlete of the Week. Burns clocked a 4:25.76 after altitude conversion to set the fastest time in the NCAA by over five seconds. Burns, who was the women’s cross country individual Big Sky Conference Champion in November, has now earned two Athlete of the Week awards this season.

Women’s Field Athlete of the Week: Erin Wilde, Montana (Sr., Whitefish, Mont.)
Setting the top women’s high jump mark in the Big Sky so far has earned Montana’s Erin Wilde Women’s Field Athlete of the Week honors. Wilde cleared 1.80m (5’ 10.75”) at the Spokane Indoor Challenge on Friday, which puts her in a tie for 18
th nationally for the event. Wilde set an indoor career best at the 2025 Big Sky Championships with a 1.83m (6’ 0”) en route to gold.
