FARMINGTON, Utah (Mar. 4, 2025) – The Northern Colorado Bears and Montana Grizzlies have split the 2024-25 Big Sky Conference Men’s Basketball Regular Season Championship, and the field is officially set for #StarchMadness this upcoming weekend.

The title for UNC marked the first in Big Sky Conference history (2011 title was vacated due to NCAA violations). For Montana, it was the program’s 13
th regular season title.
The first games in Boise will take place on Saturday, March 8. The No. 9-seeded Weber State Wildcats will play the No. 10-seeded Sacramento State Hornets at 5:30 p.m. MT to start the action.
All games will be available to stream live on ESPN+. The first of two semifinals will be played on ESPNU, while the second of two semifinals and championship game will be played on ESPN2.

The 2025 Big Sky Conference Men's and Women's Basketball Championships take place on March 8-12 at Idaho Central Arena in Boise, Idaho, home to Starch Madness for the seventh consecutive year. The tournament champions will receive an automatic berth to their respective NCAA Tournaments and represent the Big Sky in March Madness later in the month.
