GREELEY, Colo. (Nov. 25, 2024) – The five-set thrillers continued into Tuesday's semifinal matches, as the No. 8 seed and No. 3 seed secured their spots in Wednesday's championship.
Eighth-seeded Idaho State continued its historical tournament run in another five-set thriller in which they defeated fourth-seeded Weber State, while No. 3 seeded Northern Colorado took down second-seeded and reigning tournament champions Sacramento State.
The championship final appearance for Idaho State is its first since 2015, while Northern Colorado will make its sixth championship apperance in the last seven seasons.
Northern Colorado and Idaho State will face off on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. MT, with the winner earning the Big Sky's automatic bid to the NCAA Volleyball Tournament.
