Weber State's Grace Kirby Earns 2025 Golden Boot Award

FARMINGTON, Utah (Oct. 29, 2025) – With the regular season in the rearview mirror, the Big Sky Conference has announced Weber State's Grace Kirby as the 2025 Golden Boot Award Winner after an impressive conference slate for the senior.

The Golden Boot Award is given to the student-athlete with the most goals scored in conference play. In the event of a tie, the tiebreaker is assists in conference games.

Kirby scored four goals over eight conference matches, recording one mulit-goal game against Idaho State to close out the regular season. Kirby was one of four athletes in the league to score four goals in conference play, however, it was her pair of assists that seperated her from the others.

The Ogden, Utah native leads the Wildcats in points on the season (10) which ranks T1st in the Big Sky through conference-only games. She is the first Wildcat to earn this honor since Morgan Furmaniak in the 2022 season.

Kirby and the Wildcats look to keep their momentum going in the postseason with a trip to the Big Sky Championships on deck. Weber State has secured the No. 2 seed and will take on the winner of third-seeded Eastern Washington and sixth-seeded Northern Arizona in the semifinal round on Nov. 7.

The 2025 Big Sky Soccer Championship, presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Montana, will be played on Nov. 5, 7, and 9 on the campus of the University of Montana in Missoula, Montana. The top six teams in the conference regular season standings advance to the championship.

The winner of the championship receives the Big Sky's automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.

The full slate of postseason awards and all-conference teams will be announced on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
