FARMINGTON, Utah (Aug. 14, 2024) – Matchups for the second-annual Big Sky-Summit Challenge have officially been announced, setting up more exciting men’s and women’s basketball competition this upcoming season.
This year’s schedule was made official today in a joint announcement by the Big Sky Conference and the Summit League.
Games will take place on Wednesday, December 4 and Saturday, December 7. The majority of programs will play one home game and one road game. Due to an uneven number of members between the two conferences, four Big Sky programs will only participate in one game.
For the second season in a row, the two leagues will be playing for a combined trophy, taking both men’s and women’s results into consideration equally from 36 total games.
Via tiebreaker, the Summit League claimed the trophy for the first edition of the challenge.
Big Sky Conference home games will be available to stream on ESPN+, while Summit League home games will be available on the Summit League Network (SummitLeagueNetwork.TV).
