BOISE, Idaho (Mar. 14, 2024) – For the third-consecutive season, the Bobcats of Montana State won the Big Sky Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament on Thursday evening inside Idaho Central Arena, clinching another berth into the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament.
The Bobcats topped the Montana Grizzlies in a ‘Brawl of the Wild’ showdown 85-70.
MSU entered the tournament as the No. 5 seed in the tournament.
Robert Ford III led the ‘Cats with 22 points on 8-of-13 shooting, while he also pulled down nine rebounds and dished out eight assists.
Ford III was also named Tournament MVP.
