FARMINGTON, Utah (Nov. 26, 2024) – The Big Sky Conference announced its final weekly honors for football, and volleyball, with women's basketball and men's basketball heating up in non-conference play.
Big Sky Football Players of the Week (Nov. 25, 2024)
Co-Offensive Player of the Week: Lan Larison, UC Davis (RB, Sr., Caldwell, Idaho)
Lan Larison rushed for 148 yards and three touchdowns in the 42-39 win for UC Davis over Sacramento State. Larison added another 69 yards receiving and 56 yards in the return game. The weekly honor is the second of the season for Larison as he also won Stats Perform FCS National Offensive Player of the Week honors.
Co-Offensive Player of the Week: Adam Jones, Montana State (RB, R-Fr., Missoula, Mont.)
Adam Jones rushed for 197 yards and a pair of touchdowns against his hometown team, as Montana State downed Montana 34-11 in the Brawl of the Wild. The weekly honor was the second of the season for Jones as he also won Stats Perform FCS National Freshman Player of the Week honors.
Co-Defensive Player of the Week: Rylan Ortt, Montana State (DB, Sr., Missoula, Mont.)
Rylan Ortt had 11 tackles, with eight being solos, against his hometown team, as Montana State downed Montana 34-11 in the Brawl of the Wild. The 'Cats held the Griz to 11 points, the fewest scored by Montana in the rivalry game since 2012, and 234 total yards, its fewest since 2005. The weekly honor was the first of the season for Ortt.
Co-Defensive Player of the Week: Alex McLaughlin, Northern Arizona (DB, So., Chandler, Ariz.)
Alex McLaughlin had 13 tackles and a game-sealing interception in Northern Arizona's 30-18 win over Eastern Washington. The Lumberjack held the Eagles to just 18 points, a week removed from their 77-point performance in Week 12. The weekly honor is the third of McLaughlin's career.
Co-Special Teams Player of the Week: Kyle Thompson, Weber State (K, Sr., American Fork, Utah)
Kyle Thompson matched Cal Poly's scoring in Weber State's 28-17 win over the Mustangs, as the Wildcat kicker had a perfect day. Thompson was 5-for-5 on field goals of 30, 36, 26, 30 and 43 yards, which was the most made in a game in Weber State history. The senior also added a pair of extra point makes, totaling 17 points on the day.
Co-Special Teams Player of the Week: Andrew Marshall, Idaho (KR, So., Eastvale, Calif.)
Andrew Marshall returned three kickoffs for 181 yards, including a 100-yard touchdown to start the second half and putting Idaho ahead 24-7 against Idaho State. Marshall also had a 62-yard return, which set up a quick scoring drive for the Vandals in their 40-17 win over the Bengals. The weekly honor was the second of the season for Marshall.

Big Sky Volleyball Players of the Week (Nov. 25, 2024)
Offensive Player of the Week: Bridgette Smith, Sacramento State (OH, Sr., Salem, Ore.)
Bridgette Smith posted a great week for Sacramento State, earning 5.33 kills per set in two matches. Smith also had 0.78 aces per set and .327 hitting percentage for the pair of matches. In the win over Weber State, she had a career-high 27 kills, which are tied for the most by a Big Sky player this season. In the game vs. Idaho State, Smith had 21 kills, three aces, 10 digs and two blocks. The weekly honor was the second of the season for Smith.
Defensive Player of the Week: Jourdain Kamps, Montana State (OH, Gr., Ennis, Mont.)
Montana State's
Jourdain Kamps notched seven blocks in a sweep over Montana, while helping hold the Grizzlies to a .126 hitting percentage. Kamps also logged 10 kills in the win over the Griz. The weekly honor was the second of the season for Kamps.

Big Sky Women's Player of the Week (Nov. 26, 2024)
Player of the Week: Taylor Feldman Northern Arizona (G, Jr., Tustin, Calif.)
Taylor Feldman led Northern Arizona to wins over Arizona and Colorado State this past week, as she averaged 20.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.0 steals per game. Against Colorado State, she set career-highs in points scored (25), rebounds (12), field goals made and attempted (8-20) and three-pointers made and attempted (4-10) while dishing a season high six assists. In NAU's win over Arizona, she scored 16 points and dished five assists, making 2-of-12 from the field, 2-of-8 from three-point range and 6-of-7 from the free throw line. The weekly honor is the first of the season for Feldman and second of her career.

Player of the Week: Langston Reynolds, Northern Colorado (G, Jr., Denver, Colo.)
After leading his Northern Colorado Bears to a pair of Division I victories,
Langston Reynolds has been named Big Sky Men’s Basketball Player of the Week. The Denver native averaged 24.5 points per game, pulled down 10 rebounds and dished out six assists in the matchups. On the road against Cal Baptist, Reynolds finished with 18 points, four rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block. When the Bears welcomed Prairie View A&M into Bank of Colorado Arena, he dropped a career-high 31 points en route to a 114-98 victory. In that game, he shot 85 percent from the field and hit 2-of-2 from behind the three-point line.
