Jeremiah Johnson Brewing Company Named Official Craft Beer of the Big Sky Conference

FARMINGTON, Utah (Aug. 4, 2023) – In honor of International Beer Day, the league office is proud to announce Jeremiah Johnson Brewing Company as the official craft beer of the Big Sky Conference.

Jeremiah Johnson Brewing Company, located in Great Falls, Montana, officially unveiled its new partnership with the league last month at the 2023 Big Sky Football Kickoff Weekend.

“Katie and I both grew up attending Big Sky Conference games with our families,” said Jeremiah Johnson, owner of Jeremiah Johnson Brewing Company. “We first met in a Big Sky Conference classroom, earned degrees at Big Sky Conference schools, and started dating years later after reconnecting at a Big Sky Conference football game. We then launched the Jeremiah Johnson Brewing Company brand with a licensed partnership with a Big Sky Conference school. With all of these major milestones, we are so proud to add another as the official craft beer of the Big Sky Conference. We are Big Sky and we are so excited!”

In addition to serving as the official craft beer of the Big Sky Conference, the partnership also will feature other exciting projects for fans of both brands, which will be announced at a later date.

The Big Sky had another stellar season on the gridiron in 2022, as a league-record six football teams finished the year ranked in the Top 25. The conference also matched its previous high for FCS Playoff teams in one season, set in 2021, with another five squads being selected to the 24-team field.

The 2023 Big Sky football season will kick off on Thursday, Aug. 31, with five teams playing that night before concluding the opening week with seven games on Saturday, Sept. 2. Six teams, or exactly half of the league, are ranked in at least one preseason Top 25 poll.
