FARMINGTON, Utah (Nov. 6, 2021) - Montana State earned the biggest win of the week in Big Sky football, as the fourth-ranked Bobcats came out of the Inferno with a 23-20 victory over fifth-ranked Eastern Washington.
The win kept the Bobcats perfect in Big Sky play as well, with MSU and Sacramento State each remaining undefeated in conference play to stay locked in a tie for first place with only two weeks left in the regular season.
Portland State kept its FCS Playoff hopes alive as the Vikings knocked off No. 24 Weber State on the road for the squad's first ranked win since 2018.

GREELEY, Colorado (Nov. 6, 2021) – Montana earned its first shutout since 2011, as the Griz blanked Northern Colorado 35-0 on the road. Cam Humphrey made a return from injury to pass for 233 yards and three touchdowns, while Justin Ford picked off a pass for the seventh-straight game to lead the FCS with seven interceptions.

OGDEN, Utah (Nov. 6, 2021) – Portland State earned its first ranked win since 2018, as the Vikings upset No. 24 Weber State on the road, 30-18. Davis Alexander passed for 299 yards and a touchdown, with freshman Nate Bennett making a season-high nine grabs for 83 yards. Reining Big Sky Co-Offensive Player of the Week Malik Walker finished the game with 90 yards and two touchdowns, with his 39-yard score with under two minutes remaining sealing the win for the Vikings.

PROVO, Utah (Nov. 6, 2021) – Idaho State played the final FBS game for the Big Sky in 2021, as the Bengals fell to No. 15 BYU in Provo, 59-14. Sagan Gronauer finished the game with 167 yards passing and a touchdown to lead Idaho State.

FLAGSTAFF, Arizona (Nov. 6, 2021) – UC Davis scored 26 unanswered points to pull away from Northern Arizona as the Aggies defeated the Lumberjacks, 40-24. Miles Hastings passed for 279 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while Trent Tompkins added 76 yards on the ground and a score to pace the Aggies.

MOSCOW, Idaho (Nov. 6, 2021) – Roshaun Johnson scored a school-record six rushing touchdowns to lead Idaho past Southern Utah and earned the Vandals a 42-24 victory. Johnson tallied a career-high 174 yards, with his six touchdowns coming one shy of tying the Big Sky record for most rushing touchdowns in a game by a single player. His six TDs are the most in a single game this season for the FCS or FBS.

CHENEY, Washington (Nov. 6, 2021) – No. 4 Montana State earned a Top 5 road win, as the Bobcats defeated No. 5 Eastern Washington in the Inferno, 23-20. Isaiah Ifanse rushed for 217 yards to lead the Bobcats, as the running back notched his second 200-yard rushing game of the season. Montana State's defense held the Eagles to 314 yards, EWU's lowest total of the season by 123 yards, and 20 points, 14 points less than it scored in any previous 2021 game.

SACRAMENTO, California (Nov. 6, 2021) – Sacramento State remained undefeated in Big Sky play, as the Hornets earned a wire-to-wire victory over Cal Poly, 41-9. Cameron Skattebo finished with 96 yards on the ground and a pair of touchdowns, while Jake Dunniway passed for 215 yards. Sac State has now won six-straight games on the year, which marks the first time that feat has been accomplished since the 1991 team won six in a row.
