FARMINGTON, Utah (Nov. 14, 2021) - Two teams remain undefeated in Big Sky football play heading into the final week of the regular season, as Montana State and Sacramento State earned wins this past Saturday.
Montana State held off an upset bid from Idaho at home, as the Bobcats outlasted the Vandals 20-13 to improve to 9-1 overall and 7-0 in league action. MSU's defense continued their defensive streak, holding their last 15 regular-season opponents to 20 points or less.
Sacramento State took a 49-20 decision over a streaking Portland State team, as the Hornets improved to 8-2 overall and 7-0 in conference play. The Hornets have won their last seven games, which is the longest for the program since moving to the FCS in 1993 and the longest overall since the 1966 team win its final eight games.

BOZEMAN, Montana (Nov. 13, 2021) – Tommy Mellott scored all three of Montana State's touchdowns, as the third-ranked Bobcats survived an upset scare from visiting Idaho to stay unbeaten in conference play. The Bobcats have now won seven conference games for the first time since going 7-1 in the 2012 season.

CEDAR CITY, Utah (Nov. 13, 2021) - Weber State sent Southern Utah out of the Big Sky with a dominating performance, as the Wildcats shutout the Thunderbirds with a 62-0 victory on the road. The Wildcats forced four turnovers in the first 16 minutes, with five overall coming on the day. Bronson Barron tossed three touchdowns for 225 yards, as Weber State earned its first shutout of a Big Sky foe since 2007.

DAVIS, California (Nov. 13, 2021) - Eastern Washington won a Top 10 showdown on the road, as the Eagles flew past UC Davis 38-20. Eric Barriere became the Big Sky's all-time leader in career passing yards in the win, as the Eagle QB passed for 411 yards to climb to 12,676 for his career. The Eagles put up 625 yards of total offense, while holding UC Davis to 283.

SAN LUIS OBISPO, California (Nov. 13, 2021) - A 41-yard field goal by freshman Jaden Ohlsen with four seconds remaining gave Cal Poly its first Big Sky victory of the season, as the Mustangs defeated Idaho State 32-29. Spencer Brasch passed for 233 yards and three scores to lead the Mustangs, while linebacker Matt Shotwell had 19 tackles and his first career pick-6 in the victory.

SACRAMENTO, California (Nov. 13, 2021) — No. 12 Sacramento State won its seventh-straight game as the Hornets stung Portland State for a 49-20 victory. Jake Dunniway threw for 281 yards and a touchdown, while fellow Hornet QB Asher O'Hara rushed for 102 yards and passed for 18 in a two-score performance. Devin Gandy also had a 94-yard kickoff return for a score, which was the first kickoff return touchdown for Sac State since 2014.
