FARMINGTON, Utah (Oct. 31, 2021) - Sacramento State moved into a tie for first place in the Big Sky football standings with Montana State, as the Hornets extended their winning streak to five games.
With Saturday's win, Sac State also guaranteed a winning overall record in consecutive seasons for the second time in the school's Div. I era (1993-pres.). The previous time came in 1999 (6-5) and 2000 (7-4). The Hornets have won eight consecutive Big Sky games overall dating back to 2019, which is a school record.
Weber State's Rashid Shaheed made history with his 98-yard kickoff return for a touchdown at Idaho State this past Saturday. The kickoff return touchdown is Shaheed's seventh of his career, which sets a new FCS record. Shaheed also became the fourth player in Weber State history to reach 5,000 career all-purpose yards with his performance on Saturday.

MISSOULA, Montana (Oct. 30, 2021) – A late field goal block helped No. 11 Montana survive an upset bid from Southern Utah, as the Griz held on for a 20-19 win over the visiting Thunderbirds. Montana's lone turnover of the game went for a pick-six, as Justin Ford earned his sixth interception in as many games to extend his program streak for consecutive games and became the first UM player to have six interceptions in a season since 2014.

POCATELLO, Idaho (Oct. 30, 2021) – Rashid Shaheed made FCS history with his seventh career kickoff return, as No. 23 Weber State picked up a 40-17 road win at Idaho State. Quarterback Bronson Barron finished the day 14 of 24 passing for 294 yards and one touchdown to lead the offense, as the Wildcats totaled 405 yards of offense and held the Bengals to 193 yards, including just 24 yards rushing.

GREELEY, Colorado (Oct. 30, 2021) – No. 15 Sacramento State moved into a tie for first place in the Big Sky Conference standings with a hard-fought 27-24 win over Northern Colorado on Saturday. The Hornets rushed for 217 yards as a team, led by 111 from Cameron Skattebo. The team also passed for 171 yards with 138 coming from Jake Dunniway who was 11-of-24, and 33 yards from Asher O'Hara who completed 3-of-4.

MOSCOW, Idaho (Oct. 30, 2021) – Northern Arizona overcame a 21-17 halftime deficit at Idaho, as the Lumberjacks outscored the Vandals 21-10 in the second half to earn their fourth win of the season. Kevin Daniels rushed for 177 yards on the ground, while RJ Martinez passed for 238 yards and three touchdowns to propel the Lumberjack offense on Saturday.
Portland State 42, Cal Poly 21

PORTLAND, Oregon (Oct. 30, 2021) – Portland State scored a season-high 42 points as the Vikings downed visiting Cal Poly 42-21 on Saturday at Hillsboro Stadium. The Vikings combined for 207 yards rushing and five scores on the ground, as senior Malik Walker led the team with 116 yards and two scores.
