Blue Ribbon Yearbook Releases Big Sky Men’s Basketball Projections

The publication has tabbed UM’s Williams as the favorite for Player of the Year,

FARMINGTON, Utah (Sept. 10, 2025) – The Blue Ribbon Yearbook has released its 2025-26 forecast for Big Sky Conference men’s basketball, which projects the league’s defending champions as the top team heading into this upcoming campaign
 
Led by last year’s Top Reserve Money Williams, Blue Ribbon has projected the Montana Grizzlies as the top team in the Big Sky, followed by Portland State and Idaho State.

The publication has tabbed UM’s Williams as the favorite for Player of the Year, along with noting Idaho State’s Caleb Van De Griend as a favorite for Newcomer of the Year.
 
Those two were joined by Portland State’s Terri Miller Jr. and Jaylin Henderson on the projected All-Conference Team, along with Idaho’s Kolton Mitchell.
 
The Big Sky’s official Preseason Polls and All-Conference Team will be released at a later date.
