#BigSkyWBB: Day Two Boise Recap

Eastern Washington, Northern Arizona Advance

BOISE, Idaho (March 10, 2024) – Day two of the 2024 Big Sky Conference Women’s Basketball Championship is complete inside Idaho Central Arena, and only six teams remain.

Eastern Washington 71, Weber State 58

The Eagles secured a win in the second round of competition of the Big Sky Women's Basketball Championships by a score of 71-58 over Weber State. 

The Eagles and Wildcats went back and fourth until Eastern Washington outscored Weber State 24-12 in the final quarter. League MVP, Jamie Loera led the way for the Eagles with 14 points and 8 assists. Four other Eagles also scored in double figures.  

Eastern Washington will advance to Tuesday's semifinal and face the winner of Montana State/Northern Colorado at 12 pm. 

Northern Arizona 81, Sacramento State 63

Northern Arizona came out of the second game of the day with a win over ninth-seeded Sacramento State.

The Lumberjacks shot 62% from the field in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Hornets 27-17. Idaho native Sophie Glancey had a career day for the Lumberjacks with 30 points and 11 boards. 

Northern Arizona will advance to Tuesday's semifinal and face the winner of Montana/Idaho at 2:30 pm.
