Eagles Take Weekly Women's Basketball Honors

Aaliyah Alexander Named Player of the Week

FARMINGTON, Utah (Jan. 2, 2024) – Eastern Washington takes the Women's Basketball weekly honors after a strong start in conference play. 

Player of the Week: Aaliyah Alexander (Eastern Washington)
Eastern Washington's Aaliyah Alexander has been named Player of the Week after posting 44 points in a pair of victories to open up Big Sky play. 

Alexander rallied the Eagles averaging 22 points per game, shooting 55% from the floor and 6 of 11 from the three point arc.. The redshirt-sophomore also logged 12 rebounds, two steals, and an assist. 
 
The Eagle capped off a big week making six of seven free throws.
