NAU, Montana Split Weekly Women's Basketball Honors

Grace Beasley and Carmen Gfeller Named Co-Players of the Week

FARMINGTON, Utah (Dec. 19, 2023) – The Big Sky Conference office has annouced Co-Players of the week after Northern Arizona and Montana picked up key road victories. 
 
Co-Players of the Week: Grace Beasley (Northern Arizona)
Northern Arizona's Grace Beasley earned a share of the Player of the Week honors after posting 21 points in a road victory over Pepperdine. 

Beasley had a career day against the Waves notching a career-high 21 points and a career-high eight rebounds. The redshirt senior also contributed five assists, a three-pointer and a steal. 
 
The Lumberjack went a perfect 4-4 from the free throw line.  

Co-Players of the Week: Carmen Gfeller (Montana)
Montana's Carmen Gfeller also earned a share of the Player of the Week honors after posting 21 points in a road victory over Cal Poly. 

Gfeller rallied the Grizzlies to a second-half comeback registering 15 of her 21 points in the second half. The Graduate student  also logged six rebounds, an assist and a three-pointer. 
 
Gfeller capped off a big game with a pair of free throws, going 2-2 from the line.
