FARMINGTON, Utah (Oct. 23, 2023) – For the first time in Big Sky Conference history, the league will have its Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships streamed live on ESPN+.
Thanks to the production staff at the University of Montana, who is serving as host institution for the 2023 Big Sky XC Championships, both races will be available to ESPN+ subscribers this Friday.
As a conference, the Big Sky has been making national headlines across the NCAA for a long time, spearheaded by Northern Arizona men’s cross country claiming six of the previous seven available national titles.
This season not only are NAU’s men ranked No. 1 in the nation, but the Lumberjack women will also enter the Big Sky meet with the title of No. 1 team in the country.
Those aren’t the only two ranked teams in the Big Sky either, as the Montana State Bobcats checked in at No. 28 in the most recent men’s rankings.
The meet will take place on Friday, Oct. 27 at the University of Montana Golf Course. The women’s race is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. MT, with the men’s race to follow at 12 p.m. MT.
