FARMINGTON, Utah (Sept. 25, 2022) - Sacramento State pummeled Colorado State 41-10 on Saturday, as the win gave the Big Sky Conference its sixth victory against an FBS foe dating back to last season. All six wins have come from six different Big Sky teams. Below is a recap of every Big Sky football game from this past week.

GREELEY (Sept. 24, 2022) – The Elijahs, Dotson and Anderson-Taylor, made key plays in the second half to help Northern Colorado pull away from Idaho State for a 35-14 homecoming win. Dotson had an 82-yard punt return to the house while Anderson-Taylor returned a fumble 47 yards for six and an exclamation point in the win. The victory puts UNC at 1-0 in the Big Sky, evens its record to 2-2 on the year and snaps a four-game losing streak on homecoming.

FLAGSTAFF (Sept. 24, 2022) – Gevani McCoy led Idaho to a 27-10 road win over Northern Arizona, as the quarterback threw for 184 yards and a touchdown on 18-of-20 passing. The Vandal defense was also crucial in the Big Sky Conference opener, as Idaho held NAU to just 52 yards rushing and without any points in the second half.
Sacramento State 41, Colorado State 10

FORT COLLINS, Colorado (Sept. 24, 2022) – Sacramento State set a school record for points against an FBS team and amassed nearly 400 yards of offense in a 41-10 win over Colorado State on Saturday. The win improved the Hornets to 3-0 on the season for the first time since 1992, and gave the team its first win over an FBS program since defeating Colorado in 2012. Jake Dunniway and Asher O'Hara combined for 235 passing yards and two touchdowns, while O'Hara added 39 rushing yards and two scores on the ground to pace the Hornet offense.

MISSOULA (Sept. 24, 2022) – Lucas Johnson passed for 221 yards and a pair of touchdowns through the air and another on the ground, as Montana improved to 4-0 with a 53-16 victory over Portland State to open conference play. Robby Hauck also had an exciting game, as the redshirt senior eclipsed the 400 career tackle mark to set the all-time program record, while also returning a missed field goal 99 yards for a touchdown before halftime. The win also improved Montana's record in Homecoming games played at Washington-Grizzly Stadium to 32-4.

CHENEY (Sept. 24, 2022) – The Montana State defense came through with two late takeaways and quarterback Sean Chambers sealed the deal with two fourth-quarter rushing touchdowns to give the Bobcats a 38-35 Big Sky Conference win over Eastern Washington at Roos Field. The Bobcats were led by Chambers, who rushed for 178 yards and two touchdowns to help MSU outgain EWU by a 466-349 yard margin with 355 of those yards coming on the ground.

DAVIS (Sept. 24, 2022) – Weber State stopped a UC Davis drive in the final minute of the game to hold on for a 17-12 win in the Big Sky opener late Saturday night. The game also featured two 100-yard rushers as UC Davis' Ulonzo Gilliam Jr. earned 111 on the ground and Weber State's Josh Davis ran for 100 on the night. The win moved Weber State to a perfect 4-0 to start the season for the first time since 1998.
