FARMINGTON, Utah (Dec. 14, 2022) - It's another exciting week in the 2022-23 Big Sky women's basketball season as games continue to heat up in preparation for conference play. Below are news and notes from around the league as we enter Week 6 of the campaign.

Sacramento State’s Isnelle Natabou Chosen for Player of the Week
After recording 42 points and 24 rebounds, Sacramento State's Isnelle Natabou was named the Big Sky Women's Basketball Player of the Week. The junior extended her double-double streak to four games, giving Natabou a total of six double-double performances on the year. The six double-doubles ties the center for sixth in the nation in the same statistic.
Northern Colorado Tops the Conference in Assists
With a total of 119 assists in eight games, Northern Colorado leads the league in team assists as the Bears have a current average of 14.88 assists per game.
EWU’s Jamie Loera Leads the League in Steals
Averaging 3.3 steals per game, Eastern Washington's Jamie Loera tops the conference in steals as Loera has recorded 26 steals in eight games this season.
Montana State is No. 1 in Team Free Throw Percentage
With a current team free throw percentage of .772, Montana State leads the league in the same category as the Bobcats have made 166 free throws in 10 games this season.
UI’s Beyonce Bea Still Leads the Conference in Scoring
Idaho’s Beyonce Bea remains on the top of the leaderboard in scoring as she has recorded 181 points in eight games. Bea is averaging 22.6 points per game this season.
